May 30 2009 2:53 AM It most certainly is not a scam or keylogger. Don't go around making accusations without evidence. The source code is publicly available for anyone to check out, and it's quite obvious there's no malicious code whatsoever. |

Sep 7 2009 4:21 AM Hmm... Object Doesn't Support this action. Usually means you've got the wrong version of one of the DLL or OCX files. Try uninstalling, restarting, reinstalling, restarting again, and then running it? If it asks to replace any versions, say YES. |

Dec 18 2009 6:04 AM Great bot, but a shame it isn't supported any more. I use it every day, and those who think it's a trojan are damned fools. I wonder if this will work with Battle.net 2.0 with sc2's release... |

Oct 10 2009 6:36 PM Andy. Still great to see you with RCB. Something I don't think will ever die; however I do on multiple occasions in the past say the last release is actually the LAST release but it never was. Hows Usa-1 if you ever go in there? Another thing, can you please email me on the basics of Windows 7? What's it about? Can I keep all of my stuff on my hard drive if I switch? You know, the basics. Anyway keep in touch.

Sep 7 2009 4:19 AM Yes, you can join Battle.net with the final mess of source code, if you can get it running. It really is hell to set up, though.
No, I will not work on it, even if money is offered. That's not why I made this bot in the first place, and it's certainly not going to be a motivation to now. |

Aug 26 2009 9:13 PM The state of the source code is unbelievably messy and unfinished. Aug 21 2009 3:46 AM Wow... You guys are starting to make me feel bad for stopping work on this. Honestly, though, I'm done with Battle.net development. You can create trivia through scripting pretty easily, in fact I used to have code written to do it on the old forums, but unless you can find it on a cache site (try wayback), it's probably gone. |

Aug 20 2009 5:58 AM yo sup Mr. Sachen, dunno if you actually read these comments or not but if you do, i'd like to tell you that your bot is hella awesome. hands down it is one of the best bot i have ever used. When a buddy of mine, Cory@uswest told me about this i was like huh? never heard of it but once i loaded this upgraded swiss army knife, i was blown away that it can solve even trig through its math functions. This would be the only bot i would ever, ever need and have to use if it can do trivia and load more than profile at once but i guess since this project is now dead, that wont be possible. I do wish that one day you will continue this bot and allow trivia amongst other plugins in it. If you dont, i still believe you have created one of the best bots in battle.net history thus far. Thanks for this great bot. know that once i get a job in this recession, i might just pay you to help me enhance this bot further to what i want because i really do love this bot and really rather to have no one else work on it but its original author.
Best of luck in your freelance career, - l.l@uswest and l.l@useast |

Jul 18 2009 11:06 PM Oh well this was one of the best bots i have seen in my time of botting.. oh well |
|
| RealityRipple |
Jul 18 2009 6:59 AM Oh, and it's also reliant on RBNLib, which I wrote in PowerBASIC, and is in need of work (such as the 26 digit key thing I can't figure out). And I started work on locales (language packs) and did a really shitty job of it, but it needs to be either completed or reverted, and either's a bitch of a job. And there's SQLite database shit, too. Just warning you, it's ugly. I started getting too creative with the source code. |
|
| RealityRipple |
Jul 18 2009 6:56 AM Unless they change something major in Lockdown, it should still work for classic games just fine (DRTL, DSHR, SSHR, JSTR, W2BN) maybe for the rest of Battle.net's existence. The newer versions do weird things with 26 digit keys for some unknown reason on certain computers (including mine now that I'm on Win7), and Warcraft 3's Warden is completely unhandled by any version... Other than that, whatever. I'm not supporting it.
If anyone wants the current source code to continue the project, you're welcome to ask for it. I should warn you ahead of time that it's nasty, tangled, half written code that will probably make you want to gouge your eyes out. Also, the entire folder (which you'll want) is about 80 MB. |
|

Jul 17 2009 9:15 PM Hopefully the bot wont fall useless, i cant go bakc to stealthbot and theres no other bots i can trust so blahhh, lol. it still works for me.but i never really upgraded it so im running a version or two behind. |

Jul 17 2009 5:03 PM Heh. To be honest, I detest pride. I made this bot so people would have a useful, friendly, and easy way to chat on Battle.net, with plenty of features to mess around with. It was never about the BNCS protocol or fighting against Blizzard. Battle.net just happened to be the medium I wished to use. |
|
| James |
Jul 15 2009 2:12 PM Ok not trying to sound mean or anything but isn't that were bot makers get there pride knowing they can beat the system? just saying |
|
| RealityRipple |
Jul 14 2009 5:14 PM I'm sick of working against Blizzard on their own servers. There are so many problems with the application itself, I wouldn't even know where to start if I picked it up again.
As for commands, you first need to set a trigger (it's in options, I believe under userlist), and then prefix any commands with that trigger. For instance, if your trigger is a "-", you'd do -games. You must also make sure to give yourself access, of course. |

Jun 2 2009 4:36 AM Thank you for your answer. I've also read similar news at different forums. Now only Ghost is supposed to work with Warden (with a bit of fiddling about) but thay might also get banned. Alas, I don't want to run or maintain a complex program like that. Quite a shame for RCB as it's a fine piece of work. We shall see what Blizzard's next step is or what the new BattleNet 2 (when SC2 comes out) allows and how it will work. Again, many thanks and I hope I can use your program in the future! |
|
| RealityRipple |
Jun 1 2009 8:55 PM The only way I'd be motivated to work on a Battle.net bot again is if Blizzard Entertainment stops actively working against bot developers. Having to deal with their changes (Warden, Lockdown, etc...) is too much. Also, logging in to Warcraft 3 on RCB is useless, since the new version of Warden for WAR3 will disconnect you in two minutes. |

Jun 1 2009 2:32 PM I'm having a problem with the beta (v1.3.4 doesn't work at all) as when it downloads the archimonde.mpq from Blizzard (this is for TFT by the way) the program crashes. Quite a shame as RCB continues to run in the background but when I close the error message it suddenly closes. Could you help me on this please? Also, what (how much :) would motivate you to further develop this program? |

Jul 20 2010 5:23 AM I'd like it better if Fierr would try to reload the page every second and then stop trying to reload after 10 seconds. Currently it reloads the page 1 time in 10 seconds, which I don't find a very useful behaviour. |

Oct 5 2009 11:58 AM That's sort of impossible. The error page isn't allowed to access any external sources as a security measure, so loading the background dynamically is an impossibility. I might be able to modify it with some external javascript, but we'll see... |

Jun 22 2009 1:37 PM This version has some issues which make it unready for public release. When a stable and complete build is ready, I'll update the mirrors. |

Jun 21 2009 1:31 PM Updating the mirrors is a must, as it took me quite awhile to realize there was an update that worked with firefox 3.5 |

May 5 2010 2:27 PM It fails 1st time: This is not fixed yet (just to make clear). I made more tests: 1. after FF start - start TF08 - and works 1st time! 2. click on TF08 icon, enable same time => it fails by t/o right away. 3. click again - it works. 4. from now on it fails every other time! (unless FF restart). Please send us an improved update. It is a great and useful add-on! |

May 3 2010 10:48 AM Timerfox sometimes does not count down accurate. Usually on short intervals. It's not reliable. |

Jul 2 2009 11:12 AM Hello, I like TimerFox but I think that it could be more improved. Take a look at another extension like TeaTimer, it is nice. I think TimerFox could take ideas from it, and I consider and EXELLENT and helpful thing a checkcutton like "repeat alarm", so we can repeat all the time that alarm. Cheers,

May 20 2009 4:09 AM There's a bug for Linux users. I believe it's caused by a capital O in the chrome.manifest file, but I'm not sure. If anyone on a Linux distro can modify the chrome.manifest file and set "Overlay" to "overlay", please let me know if that fixes it! |

Jun 24 2010 3:19 PM Nice video of my brother Robo, but you only showed a brief clip of me. I'm his loving sister! I gave him his Ribbon, boosting his Speed and Magical Defense! Sure, we had our sibling rivalry, but we still love each other. As for my 6 other brothers, it's kinda sad what happened to them. Our evil mom Mother Brain reprogrammed them and me, and I was the only one who got my memories restored. Thanks Robo! <3 |
